Elementary Summer Day Camp
for students entering 1st-6th grades

At Camp Next Gen our goal is to create a space in which your child can find new possibilities and experience new things. Each week there is a unique camp theme with daily activities that will engage all of your student’s senses. We take special care to create activities that will enhance your child’s creativity and idea of fun. Staff works with children to create relationships as well as safe and fun environment. Staff/Camper ratio is 1:5.

Top Chef

June 17-21, Cost $130
It takes more than a measuring cup and chef’s hat to make you a chef! Campers will spend each day working in the kitchen to create fabulous foods and a little friendly competition. Kids will try their hand at many different types of food to include multi-cultural, desserts, and even plan a meal fit for their parents — Family dinner night is Thursday night following camp!


AnimalCamp

Animal Camp

June 24-28, Cost $120

Lions and tigers and bears — oh my! Join us as we study the many facets of animals and head out on safari. We will study mammals, reptiles, birds, and more! And you just never know what animals we will see! Kids will experience domesticated animals up close and have a chance to explore reptiles and more!

World of Science

July 8-12, Cost $120

Hands-on science experience! Each day we will dive into a different science topic and learn more about the world around us with fun experiments and more! Each day kids will participate in hands on experiments, fun demonstrations, and themed days of science.


IncredibleRace

The Incredible Race

July 22-26, Cost $120

Based on the TV series Amazing race, kids will solve puzzles, riddles and rhymes; get through obstacles, challenges and more. Can you survive and win the race?


Day Camp Details:

Camp Hours: Day Camp runs from 1:00pm – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Campers must eat a nutritious lunch prior to coming to camp.

Daily snack will be provided.

 Cancellation/Refund policy:

  • The $20 registration fee is non refundable.
  • In the event that your child will not attend a camp for which you have registered, please notify our office as soon as possible 408-972-9200. Because your child has reserved a spot and we have committed to staff and programming, your $50 deposit will not be refunded if less than 2 weeks before camp. You must call the office by 10:00AM Monday morning on the first day of camp if your child will not be attending camp for the session. If you do not call, you will be responsible for the full tuition for that session.
  • We will honor requests if given a two week notice to transfer your child’s tuition to a different camp, assuming there is space available.

Campership/Scholarship Fund:

A campership fund is available to assist families who face financial needs. Please call the church at 408-972-9200 or email [email protected] for an application or more information. It is our sole purpose to make camp a place for all children regardless of economic background.

Dress Code:

Due to the nature of camp, we ask that children are dressed in suitable clothing that can get dirty/stained; enclosed toe shoes (can be sandals but must have toes enclosed) and with some type of heel strap; modest attire, no bellies showing or underwear; and that all clothing has your child’s name in it for easy identification.

A Day in the Life of a Camper

 1:00  Free Time and Gathering — Learn about the day’s activities.

1:30-3:00  Group Rotation — Campers are broken into groups or teams and will rotate through theme based activities. (Usually 2-3 activities)

3:00-3:30  Snack and Free Play

3:30-5:00 Group Rotation — Campers are broken into groups or teams and will rotate through theme based activities. (Usually 2-3 activities)

OR

3:30-5:00  Water Play!  — On alternate days of the week campers engage in outdoor water play with wading pools, slip-n-slides, water games, and more!
